Production Shift Supervisor - West Bond (3rd Shift) - (Lincoln, NE)

Position details This position is responsible for providing effective shift leadership and supervision of personnel to ensure production goals are met. You will train & develop personnel, perform employee appraisals, resolve work-related issues, and build a strong manufacturing team. Will also work to improve safety, product quality to the customer, MBM, and increase product throughput leading to cost reductions by supporting Lean / 6 Sigma initiatives and programs. Specific duties & assignments include: * Manage and direct shift manufacturing personnel and ensure proper methods and procedures are followed to achieve business plan objectives and customer satisfaction. * Responsible to coach/teach and train team on MBM philosophies, STOP safety observations, and SMART suggestion system. * Review shift manufacturing output vs. schedule goals on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to achieve or exceed business objectives and metrics.
