Key functions: * Selects, grows and maintains a profitable book of business for assigned high-volume territory with a high-level of underwriting authority * Evaluates and analyzes highly complex accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes * Develops and fosters agency relationships * Collaborates with marketing representatives to ensure agents receive superior customer experiences * Offers appropriate coverage for exposures and explains decisions to agents * Coordinates with marketing and branch management in the agency planning and review processes * Serves as a mentor for less experienced underwriters Education & Background: * Bachelors degree, preferably in insurance or business administration
