ESSENTIAL RESULTS & COMPETENCIES: * Manage all insurance verification for new patients and existing patients who have a change in insurance during course of care * Attains correct benefit details from insurers * Communicates benefits, potential financial responsibility, available financial assistance and provides financial counseling to patients * Follow-up with patients who have out-of-pocket costs * Performs accurate and timely verifications and entry into the Cerner system * Communicate and resolve patient questions regarding insurance or benefits * Contributes to a positive workplace environment * Contributes to the overall team efforts Min Education Qualifications: High-school certificate / GED required.
