JOB SUMMARY The Vice President of Field Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organizations field sales function. As the organizations senior-most sales leader, the VP Field Sales is accountable for overall field sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with business strategy. The VP of Field Sales reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales. JOB DUTIES * Aligns the field sales organizations objectives with companies business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting. * Accountable for effective field sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design sales resource deployment and career pathing. * Achieves assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives, such as cost of customer acquisition.
