Lead Rides Operator - (San Antonio, TX)

As Lead Ride Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks related to the safe operation of the Zoo's ride attractions. You are expected to perform all tasks and procedures to the standard set by Zoo management. You will have constant contact with Zoo guests and must exhibit exceptionally awesome guest service at all times. Essential Duties Demonstrate awesome guest service at all times. Assist in training new hires on the safety operation of our rides. Assist Ride Operators on learning and following rules, regulations and procedures. Assist with lunch scheduling. Operate leaf blowers, steam cleaners and pressure washers. Hand sweep exterior area of Zoo rides, which include the sitting and loading area and building, and remove trash and debris from public areas . With approval, send fellow Ride Operators home when business is slow. Ensure that each rider has purchased tickets prior to getting on the ride, and punching tickets.
