Aerospace CNC Machinist Level II 7th Shift (4:30pm-3:00am) - (Auburn, WA)

POSITION OVERVIEW Operate computer-controlled machines to perform 1 or more machine functions on metal or plastic work pieces. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Essential duties require presence in the workplace on a regular basis: in order to accomplish this, regular attendance and punctuality must be maintained. Set up manual and CNC equipment without supervision and assist/provide mentorship to Machinist Level one and trainees with their set ups. Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed. Utilize measuring equipment used in the industry such as calipers, micrometers, height gage and other measuring equipment needed to complete work. Perform 1st part inspection and in process inspections. Utilize production work orders and documents. Ensure all documentation is complete and correct. Identify root causes and corrective action for quality problems. Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition.
