You must have prior police background to apply a min three years law enforcement or military police. Officers are assigned to foot patrol or bike patrol in Portland s downtown Clean & Safe district that includes sidewalks, open areas and the SmartPark garages.Pay and Benefits: PPI pays armed officers up to $21.21 per hour and offers paid health benefits. PPI provides your uniforms and pays for your Oregon State security licensing. We work adjustable hours we know that retired or former cops enjoy having flexibility in taking time off whenever they like and a choice of full or part time work. Lastly, PPI pays for your parking in the garage where our office is located at one st and NW Davis in downtown Portland.
