Job title: Refrigeration Technician II General Purpose: Responsible for inspecting freezer and ammonia equipment and performing basic maintenance duties for freezers as necessary. Required functions:Able to perform all of the duties of the Refrigeration DefrosterRoutinely inspect freezers and freezer equipmentInspect equipment dailyEvaluate integrity of freezer equipment and determine potential or actual equipment failureReport any problems to the maintenance supervisorPerform preventative maintenance repairs on the freezers as neededPerform basic maintenance duties for freezers as necessaryUnderstand plant refrigeration systems and boiler operations and be able to start and stop all systems according to proper proceduresAble to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems as necessaryPerform emergency shut down and repair operations on freezers, boilers
