JDHuntr Attorney Law Jobs 24934 Assistant General Counsel, General Corporate, Lakeland, FL *provides high level professional legal services by *representing and *advising the University with respect to *business and financial affairs, to include but not be limited to *complex business transactions, *contract law, *commercial law, *public procurement law, *construction, *aux enterprises and *academic affiliations. *represent and *provide advice on employment law matters, and *interpret federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and policies of the University and Board of Governors. *Prepares and *promulgates University regulations, rules and policies. *Handles subpoenas and *advising with respect to public record requests. *Advises with respect to the management of risk. *Monitors claims, grievance and litigation. *Assists the General Counsel in all phases of the responsibilities of functions of these areas and other areas assigned.
