Underwriter - Ocean Marine Insurance Job - (Port St Lucie, FL)

Identify and evaluate Ocean Marine exposures and accept, decline, or modify risk protection within assigned underwriting authority levels. Coverages: injury, illness or loss of life caused by a vessel?s operation; medical expenses relating to any injury, illness or loss of life; damage to other vessels or property caused by collision or non collision related incidents; wreck cleanup and removal; damage to cargo; expenses resulting from quarantine; and similar. *** Solicit, review, and approve or reject submissions. *** Assess risk, price, and underwrite coverage. *** Develop and meet production forecasts. *** Identify and analyze rate movements and loss activity. *** Liaise with marketing team to create and execute new strategies. *** Assist associate underwriters with complex accounts.
