This individual will be a Low Observables lead, responsible for the design, analysis, and test activities to ensure signature performance qualifications are achieved, and statement of work qualifications are satisfied. Leads LO design, analysis, and test specialists, as well as coordination with other IPTs on design and configuration updates with the potential to impact to signature performance. Responsible for coordinating and interfacing regularly with suppliers, customers, other customer technical advisers, and government range test personnel. Responsibility includes managing Low Observables manpower, milestones, IMS, variance reports, etc. Low Observable (LO) Engineers are charged with the task of assuring that IR and RF signatures of weapons and related platforms and subsystems are defined, minimized to specified levels, and controlled through the design, production and fielding phases of development.
