Summer Assistant Swim Team Coach - (Hershey, PA)

This position is responsible for coaching the Hershey Country Club Swim Team through practices, six interclub meets, and one championship meet. This is a seasonal position available for the summer season beginning May 2016. Candidates do not need to be previously certified lifeguards to apply; training for the position will be provided and paid for by the Hershey Resort Properties through the International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program (Jeff Ellis & Associates). Candidates that are currently certified through American Red Cross or other Certification programs, are eligible to apply. Job Functions: Duties include assisting Head Coach in managing the team. Conducting practices Providing instruction on strokes, starts, and turns Encouraging/motivating each swimmer, regardless of expertise. Assisting Head Coach in managing home and away meets; conferring with the Swim Team Parents Committee. Coordinating swim team activities with Pool Manager.
