GENERAL SUMMARY: The Warehouse Manager is responsible in organizing the type, assortment, and quantity of products to be sold, purchased and displayed in order to maximize productivity and profit margins for the company. The Warehouse Manager supervises and coordinates activities and associates concerned with receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and delivering merchandise. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for organizing the type, assortment, and quantity of products to be sold, purchased and displayed for the Appliance Builder Distributor business. JOB DUTIES --- Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory. --- Develops and documents merchandise storage plans for products to be sold in each category and support the appropriate run rates. --- Trains associates on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped.
