Engineering: VMWare/Cloud Platform Engineer - Alpharetta, Georgia - (Alpharetta, GA)

This position will be assigned to work out of Southern Office in the Atlanta, GA area (Alpharetta) or our Central Office in the Minneapolis, MN area (Arden Hills). COUNTRY Financial is seeking a VMware/Cloud Platform Engineer to join the IT Platform Services team. This role will focus on building the longterm strategy for Platform and Infrastructure as a service for COUNTRY Financial. Included in this role is building capacity models for our existing VMware hosting environments as well as providing Tier three level support for existing hosting environments. The person in this role ensures the planning, selection, build, and maintenance of high-quality technology solutions that meet defined and emerging business capability needs in a cost effective way. Partners with IT Security Analysts and Enterprise Architects to establish, understand, and adhere to technical and IT security standards.
