Description: The Company is 1 of the nation's leading intimate partner violence centers, helping thousands of battered women and their children find the safety and security that so many of us take for granted. Services provided at the Company include legal advice and representation, counseling, emergency shelter, community education and outreach and abuse intervention programming. Nearly 9,000 victims received services from the Company in 2015. The Chief Development Officer has overall accountability for establishing and nurturing a strong and growing donor base, and for creating and sustaining a diverse revenue stream sufficient to meet the financial needs of the agency; both ongoing operational needs and major initiatives including a capital campaign. The position oversees all aspects of development including major gifts, communication, donor relations, event planning, record keeping and gift acknowledgements, as well as the agency’s volunteer program and donor contributions of items and services.
