QA Technician - (Atlanta, GA)

Job DescriptionLocal Bakery is looking for experienced QA Techs (prefer bakery background) to join our rapidly expanding company! I. MAIN RESPONSIBILITY Responsible for assuring product safety and quality by conducting line audits and inspections, product and ingredient sampling, and finished product scoring. Verifies adherence to formulas and procedures, monitors and verifies process controls, sanitation and GMP practices. II. SUMMARY: · Performs pre-operational inspections to lines and equipment, prior to product run on each shift, to ensure measures are taken to guarantee safety and quality standards are met.· Coordinates company HAACP activities on a shift basis by verifying the accuracy and functionality of X-Ray and metal detectors (CCP’s) by running ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel wands to ensure verification process. Document results, make adjustments as needed, and if required place product on hold in the event of non-conformance procedures or result during production.
