Job DescriptionBusiness Purpose: Role Purpose: To lead the entire quality assurance effort for the Tubular Products Facility of Haynes International, Inc., enterprise wide, using lean manufacturing principles that is focused on customer service and on building strong internal and external relationships; To exhibit strong leadership by setting department vision to implement "best practice" quality assurance methods, improve company profits, and meet customer qualifications; To formal ize policies/procedures, establish performance metrics, direct/conduct supply chain audits, create quality technical specifications, and provide quality workmanship standards; To develop and implement root cause corrective action for internal and external quality escapes, complaints, and non-conforming conditions; To develop and report key process indicators related to quality level (internal and external), equipment utilization, material flow through inspection, schedule compliance
