Job DescriptionApprentice Personnel - Wichita is seeking a Functional Test Technician for an immediate TEMP TO HIRE position with a local company in the aerospace industry.first Shift- 6:00 am - 2:45 pm- Overtime is requiredStarting pay level: $15.00/HRPURPOSE AND PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIESConducts variety of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical tests on electronic systems, sub-assemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIESResponsible for the set-up and testing of electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies utilizing acceptance test procedures, calibrated instruments and test equipment.Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.Tests functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change
