Five openings available! Maintenance Mechanics needed for night shift (6PM 6AM) in the Shakopee, MN area. This position is a direct hire for a successful and innovative food company. Must Have:High-school certificate or GED required. 1 or more years of background in industrial maintenance; Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical issue solving; Follows safe work practices and GMPs; Welding skills are a plus, or desire to learn; Able and willing to work 3rd shift. Required responsibilities:Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment on 1st or 3rd shift; Preventive Maintenance on equipment; Building maintenance including repair to any pumps, motors, gear boxes, bearings, etc.; Assisting in new equipment and electrical installations; Maintaining proper parts inventories; Documenting all info describing the completion of the work order; Working with other departments, such as Sanitation to complete necessary equipment changes; Following GMPs
