Job DescriptionPosition: PLC Programmer / Application DesignerReporting To: Engineering ManagerDirect Reports: Contract to HireJob Description: PLC Programmer / Application Designer with four - 7yrs' background to work for an engineering consulting firm in the Oil and Gas industry. Applicants with oil field / facilities engineering or operations background is preferred. Applicant will be responsible for using different programs (ABB, Siemens, etc) to implement new concepts into usable application. Applicant must be able to help support integration into existing facility/plant DCS or SCADA systems. Applicant must be innovative and capable of performing engineering tasks and implementing new technology while working in a high energy atmosphere. Applicant will be expected to work on more than 1 project at a time.
