Manufacturing Engineer - robotic / fabrication - (Greenfield, IN)

Major established and global company that is experiencing growth at their site has an opportunity commutable to the east of Indianapolis, Indiana for aManufacturing Engineerin the fabrication department. In this capacity will propose department / plant operations improvements through manufacturing engineering analysis of existing operations compared to future qualifications based on cost reduction, capacity, safety and/or risk avoidance opportunities. Project justification will be prepared including recommendations , layout, make-vs-buy analysis, cost impact and schedule activities as required. Will develop, implement and update documentation and training. Will implement process improvements including activities such as project management, N/C programming, tooling selection through implementation , etc. Production problems will be reviewed as they are identified and implement solutions. Ongoing support of processes will be provided resulting from part changes, process improvement, changing capacities, etc.
