Paralegal - (Playa Del Rey, CA)

We are hiring our 1st Paralegal to support the General Counsel in scaling the legal department at Thrive Market. As the Paralegal you will play an integral part in supporting our General Counsel and other members of the Thrive Market team. You will be the owner of companys contract management processes, corporate governance, employee stock option program, billing system and legal filing system. The contract work will often be of a substantive nature, requiring education, legal knowledge, creativity in issue solving and independent judgment. While most important responsibility will be handling contracts administration, the Paralegal will contribute across various business and legal functions, performing a wide spectrum of tasks and contributing to strategic projects. Our legal department is still relatively fresh and the role requires someone with a design-and-build mindset. Often times there is no process or precedent, so were counting on you to apply your knowledge and create infrastructure as you go.
