Quality Engineer - Plastic Injection Molding experience Required - (Sturgis, MI)

Due to a promotion, a large multi-industry plastic injection molding company is adding a Quality Engineers to strengthen their Quality department. These positions will report to the Quality Manager. Located in southern Michigan, this privately held company manufactures products for the medical, industrial, consumer and automotive markets. Basic Role Be responsible for product acceptance and product safety and maintaining customer quality standards Use statistical methods to issue solving - Tagushi, SPC, etc. to identify impeding costs and/or productivity gains. Lead or assist in 8D issue solving for customer or internal issues. Monitor inspection processes and procedures - develop and/or train personnel on inspection processes. Meet and communicate with customers on quality related issues Work with production, engineering and tooling to resolve quality issues Work with ISO/TS certifications and participate with audits Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher
