Vice President, Head of Internal Audit NorAm/Latin America - (Gaithersburg, MD)

This role is accountable for the success of each audit and therefore has the final decision with respect to scope, schedule, and staffing. More specifically: Audit Execution process Assure adequate supervision of audit assignments in terms of both time and quality by assuming the responsibilities of the Audit Manager in his / her domain of competence Participate in audits, assuming the role of Audit Lead, or Auditor, as needed Annual Risk Assessment and Audit Planning Timely address significant business and control risks in his / her domain of competence through development of a complete audit universe and the preparation of an annual audit plan. Provide and maintain a co-operation program with the internal controllers ensuring adequate audit coverage, avoiding duplication of work and making use of each other’s work to the max extent possible. Achieve and maintain headcount at approved levels with the appropriate mix of staff skills needed to accomplish annual audit plans.
