Sr. Customer Support Engineer Headquartered in Newark California, Kaiam is an emerging market leader in the research, development and manufacturing of optoelectronic equipment used within data-communication centers. The Sr. Customer Support Engineer will be expected to operate independently to handle all technical interactions of customers, through the sales life cycle from initial technical sales presentations through design-in testing, to failure analysis for field returns. Knowledge of networking and Ethernet switch equipment is desirable. 4+ years of Senior Field Application Engineer background with optical transceivers Knowledge of all aspects of fiber optics transceivers, including both Hardware and Firmware.
