Assistant Professor, Professional and Technical Writing-- Department of English, Central Washington University (Ellensburg, WA), seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to contribute to a dynamic program. PhD is required in Professional and Technical Writing or related position, as is proven excellence in teaching (especially teaching on-line), a record of significant national publication (or forthcoming work), and background working with students from diverse backgrounds. Industry background is desired. Teaching duties include technical and professional writing and rhetoric courses in BA writing programs (face-to-face and on-line), teaching and developing new courses for a new on-line MA, and general education classes.
