Managing Editor - (Hunt Valley, MD)

Our client, a leading marketing agency located in the Baltimore metro area, is expanding their content team and looking for a Managing Editor for immediate hire.The Managing Editor will oversee the creation of content for multiple clients and will manage the execution of a content strategy that aligns with that company's overall marketing and business strategy. Managing Editor Responsibilities: * Oversee the entire editorial process including: creating editorial calendars, providing feedback to diverse writers, tweak workflow, interface with clients, and more. * Grow the organization's freelance network and manage freelance writer relationships. * Direct editorial workflow among his/her clients and within the organization. * Regularly edit (and sometimes write) content for clients and our own company. * Create, maintain, and manage each client's editorial calendar. * Brainstorm new content ideas to continually feed those editorial calendars.
