PetFix Northeast Ohio is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality, affordable, spay and neuter surgeries to end pet homelessness and the need for unnecessary euthanasia. We are seeking a high-volume spay/neuter surgeon. Reporting to the Medical Director, this position is responsible for high-level medical care and sterilization provided to clinic patients in accordance with established policy and procedures. The essential job tasks include: performing pre-op exams, spay/neuter surgeries, and post-surgery procedures; making recommendations for any follow-up care beyond those stated on discharge instructions; documenting and maintaining proper written records; handling patient rechecks.
