Job assignments: '* Uploads purchasing documents into SmartSearch and releases them to Logistics. '* Uploads logistics documents into SmartSearch and releases them to A/P. '* Review status of open orders as requested and inform purchasing about any issues. '* Check that the correct shipping agent, expected receipt date, destination warehouse, and equipment type appear in the Traffic tab of new P.O. s. '* Monitor status of domestic and import shipments as requested according to expected receipt date, and address issues with freight forwarder, carrier, or consolidator. '* Tender P.O./shipments with shipping instructions to freight forwarder, carrier, or consolidator when needed. '* Update booking/shipping info as needed in Nav (ERP) for non-EDI transmissions.
