SUMMARY: The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests classified as waived, moderate and high complexity tests and procedures according to established standards. The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) also maintains and calibrates highly scientific equipment; serves as a resource to others relative to technical questions; provides leadership for a specific section of the laboratory; and assumes responsibility for all QC/QA activities relative to that section of the laboratory. QUALIFICATIONS: * Baccalaureate degree. * 2 to 4yrs background in the specific section. * 1 Year internship in an approved Medical Technology program. * California state license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. * Prefer 5yrs background in a clinical laboratory in an acute care laboratory
