CNC Operator/Machinist: DIRECT HIRE, $15-$20/hr, 1st & 2nd shift - (Milwaukee, WI)

A large manufacturing company on the east side of Milwaukee is looking for skilled machinists! This is a DIRECT HIRE position paying between $15-$20. first and second shift positions available. Job responsibilities -Operation of various CNC machines, including horizontal & vertical machining centers, turning centers, and others -Equipment up-keep/maintenance -Inspection of finished product utilizing calipers/micrometers to meet quality standards -Adhere to all safety regulations -Other duties as assigned Required background/Skills -1-3+ years of Machining background -Strong shop math skills -Expertise to read/comprehend machining blueprints, drawings, and complex written instructions -Effective communication and team work skills -Basic documentation/technical skills -Analytical abilities Ideal applicants will also have: -Stable work history -Basic programming skills (G&M codes) -Background producing/machining gears
