Teacher Assistant for Early childhood, Stem Montessori Academy of Libertyville - (Palatine, IL)

Looking for a qualified assistant teacher for our 3-6yr old classroom. Background of working with children is a big plus with good people skills. The teacher should be a team member and have a positive and open attitude toward all children. Additional responsibilities: Should be able to take instructions from Lead Teacher or Administrator. Responsible to assist Lead teacher to prepare the environment and perform her activities. Record keeping. Prepare and implement fun learning activities for children. Participate in events for Parents and children. Articulate and strong communicator; able to give and receive feedback. Able to grow professionally; expertise to problem-solve and manage ambiguity and diversity. Able to build trusting relationships with children, families and learning community; some understanding of child growth and development. Multilingual and proficiency in other areas like Art, Music etc will be a big plus.
