JDHuntr Attorney Law Jobs 20350 General Counsel-CCO, Brattleboro, VT Responsible for providing legal advice *developing and leading processes to *ensure that the organization complies with the law, achieves its strategic goals and serves its charitable mission. The position is responsible for (1) leading the organization's compliance program and the Compliance and Legal Services functions; (2) educating and advising the Board, Leadership and staff on laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to the organization's operations, and individual legal matters and compliance issues; and (3) managing legal services (excluding labor and employment issues) performed by outside counsel and overseeing compliance and legal issues within the organization with a particular emphasis on fraud and abuse, regulatory compliance, privacy and security, contracts and grants, and organizational policies and procedures.
