Content Buyer - (Portland, OR)

The Content Management Buyer works with the Value Analysis, Contracts, and Buyer teams to identify and upload contracted items in Oracle, and via 3rd party programs/tools • Monitors pricing to ensure adherence to contracted agreements and ensures correct tiers are applied • Participates in strategic decisions that influence departmental direction and buyers’ workloads • Responsible for activating GPO contracts and requesting tiers. • Monitors tier requests for Purchasing team • Develops SQL queries to resolve PO holds due to pricing and unit of measure discrepancies • Creates metrics and develops tools to manage outstanding AR with medical supply distributor • Responsible for meeting with suppliers to insure that pricing is correct across the entire organization • Insuring that the organization receives the contracted price at all times • Loads price/catalog files into Oracle and monitors Oracle workflows to insure that pricing corrects blankets accordingly
