Youth Care Specialist II - (Shelby, OH)

Afternoon Shift - 3:00PM to 11:00PM Primary Duties and Responsibilities Our Life Skills Workers II provide a full range of safety and security services to the youth. Some of the specific job functions are as follows: Supervises residents in daily-programmed activities, to include but not be limited to: structured recreation, movement, groups, educational programming, off campus activities. Provides leadership in the performance of therapeutic activities. Supervises structured recreation and work time. Co-facilitates group counseling sessions and I.O.P sessions, and other services: case management, crisis intervention and med somatics. Facilitates group meetings, such as morning meditation and closure. Ensures compliance with clinical programming. Enforces facility rules and standards of behavior. Maintains and completes required documentation prior to the end of the shift. To include: Communication Log, Incident Reports, Progress Notes, and IOP Notes.
