Job DescriptionJob Summary:A Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MLT/MT/MLS) in the Clinical Pathology laboratory is responsiblefor performing sample analyses and administrative duties required by protocols and Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) on biological specimens from all species to produce sound, reliable data. Theindividual in this role uses excellent communication and people skills in a collaborative teamenvironment and mentors/trains less experienced personnel.Required functions:· Performs analyses on a variety of biological specimens using manual, microscopic, and automatedprocedures, such as coagulation, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, osmolality, and blood gas testing.· Performs quality control procedures; calibrates, maintains, cleans, and troubleshoots laboratoryinstrumentation and equipment.· Assists with validation procedures for laboratory instrumentation, equipment, and methods.· Prepares solutions and reagents for use.· Collects, documents, reviews
