QC Microbiologist The primary function of the Corporate QC Laboratory is to provide testing of the ready-to-eat and raw products produced by our different plants. Job function: The Microbiologist will be responsible for daily testing, from sample set-up to report preparation. Critical functions and responsibilities: Use techniques and equipment to carry out analysis Analyze and interpret data Make sure data is accurately recorded in the LIMS Sample preparation/set up Reporting/presenting results USDA Accreditation testing participation Competencies: Superior communication and management skills are a must. The expertise to recognize and resolve problems in a timely manner is also required. Theoretical knowledge of basic microbiology analysis is required. Must have Micro lab background. Requirements: The Microbiologist should have a BS/BA in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related science.
