Analytical Chemist - (Harwick, PA)

Lab Support has a need for an Analytical Chemist. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Under leadership of Chemists and Lab Management, performs professional work in formulation, application, testing and evaluation of coatings. Develops new products to meet customer qualifications. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: •Through appropriate testing and data analysis, contributes to the development of new coatings, processes, and methods for solution of technical problems utilizing latest technology – i.e., solvent, high solids, water borne, ultra violet, and electron beam chemistries. •Conducts research to develop and improve products. Provides technical assistance to other areas regarding research and development efforts. •Assists other Chemists and Lab Management with investigating and resolving customer complaints. •Performs appropriate physical and chemical tests and analyses to provide accurate results to verify product quality as defined by customer specifications.
