QC Chemist - (Lynchburg, VA)

Aerotek is currently seeking applicants who are qualified for an immediate need for a Quality Control Chemist. This is a direct placement opportunity! Position overview: Perform Quality Control Tests on all raw material, in-process and finished samples brought to the lab per SOP's and sample testing plans, Inventory laboratory supplies for all materials necessary to perform QC tests; Complete all data entry qualifications necessary to maintain systems integrity, including SAP; Verify functionality of laboratory equipment; Shifts: five day shifts, rotating to cover weekends, most likely they would cover one weekend a month. They are 24/7 so, this person needs to be okay with working first, second or third shift if/when needed.
