Scientist - (Sheboygan Falls, WI)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Develop, improve, or optimize processes to support ongoing research and custom chemical manufacturing. As requested, evaluate new potential competitive products, technologies, and experimental plans, in support of marketing campaigns and initiatives. The work is expected to be accomplished in fairly independent manner, with moderate supervision. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Design and execute experiments with the goal to improve/optimize reaction conditions, raw materials costs and isolated yields, while addressing process safety. Transfer the developed process technology to qualification or production, via departmentally supported procedures. Document work and results accurately. Generate technical reports. Contribute to the achievement of group/departmental goals, including meeting deadlines and productivity markers.
