six month contract to Permanent, direct hire, Field Service Engineer II - X Ray/Imaging, Temple, TX Job Summary: The Field Service Engineer II repairs, maintains, tests, and calibrates moderately complex diagnostic imaging equipment/systems to ensure its safe and proper operation. Maximizes patient safety by supporting the proper use, application and operational performance of patient care equipment. Will travel Hospitals but could travel to different outpatient clinics in the Temple area. What Is Expected (key functions): Performs scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) according to hospital policies, procedures and industry-recognized standards, using specialized test equipment, tools, and simulation devices Maintains, services, troubleshoots and calibrates a variety of moderately complex diagnostic imaging systems by using manufacturer service manuals, schematic diagrams, and vendor ability.
