Senior Software Engineer A123 Systems, LLC is a leading developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries and battery systems for the transportation and commercial markets. Job summary The role of the Sr. Software Engineer is to plan, execute, and deliver Battery Management System software according to project timing and budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of teammates and 3rd-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver software according to plan. The Sr. Software Engineer will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle. Key responsibilities Act as the primary software interface to both internal and external customers. Manage and execute software engineering from project beginning to end. Define project scope and deliverables to support program goals in collaboration with engineering and program management. Develop and maintain realistic project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
