IT Security & Network Engineer - (Bluffton, SC)

Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority is looking for: IT Security & Network Engineer Under limited supervision, installs, configures and supports BJWSA's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), & Internet systems. Responsible for the availability, reliability, performance, security & maintenance of the company's Enterprise & SCADA network infrastructure. This includes future design, implementations and operational support for all security & network related initiatives as it relates to the company. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree, an Associate Degree in Electronics with five to 7yrs' background in an IT system, or a High-school diploma with seven to 10yrs' background in IT systems. Background in troubleshooting techniques, knowledge of computers, networking, software, fiber optic networks, security, communications equipment, & managing IT projects. In-depth, functional, broad-based knowledge of security practices & networking.
