Patent Attorney - (Boston, MA)

Company is seeking a highly motivated Patent Attorney. The Patent Attorney will advise Company on a broad spectrum of intellectual property matters, patent preparation and prosecution, due diligence, and freedom-to-operate searches. The Patent Attorney also will provide strategic advice on business development deal structure and terms, independently reviewing, negotiating and drafting all types of agreements, including sponsored research agreements, CRADA’s, Material Transfer Agreements,Confidentiality Agreements and licenses. The position will report to the VP, Chief IP Counsel. Responsibilities: • Implement and manage strategic intellectual property portfolio strategies including development of US and International Patent strategies • Provide high-level, transactional support including negotiating and drafting strategic collaborations and licensing agreements • Support IP litigation as required • Manage 1 or more patent attorneys and administrative professionals
