Veterinary Technician- ER 3rd Shift - (Indian Trail, NC)

Responsible for all aspects of the Emergency department flow, including patient triage, history taking, performing diagnostics, patient restraint, administering and monitoring anesthesia in the pre-, peri-, and post-procedure periods, assisting in diagnostic and surgical procedures, medication administration and refills, discharging, and client communications. Duties: Properly maintain and operate all instruments used in the Emergency department Maintain a clean, organized working atmosphere in Treatment and exam rooms, diagnostic areas and surgery suite by cleaning tables, mopping and disinfecting area and equipment. Receive incoming emergencies, triage patient and monitor vitals Accurate patient histories Communicate patient status to Emergency Doctor and other staff Perform or assist in diagnostic procedures including blood work, radiographs, ultrasounds
