Position: Clinical Laboratory Scientist " Licensed ( CLS ) Duration: 13+ weeks " subject to extension Location: Ukiah, CA Position overview: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) is a professional state licensed position. The CLS performs moderate and complex laboratory tests, microscopy and uses a variety of analytical instruments competently and proficiently. A CLS is expected to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in all areas involving patients and their related hospital business. Conducts hospital business in an ethical and lawful manner, and is willing to report any knowledge of real or potential fraud or abuse according to the Compliance Code of Conduct. Abides by Personnel and Payroll Policies and Procedures. Required skills/Knowledge: Must have a Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Min of 1 yr background in acute care hospital preferred.
