9112759 Position summary & Requirements Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS) StartDate: 01/09/2017Available Shifts: ten D Pay level: $31.00 - 36.00 SHIFT: 4/10's, 8:30pm-7am. Every other weekend and some holidays Medical technologists, or clinical laboratory scientists, are responsible for performing complex tests on blood and other body fluids, such as: biological, chemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Medical technologists analyze samples for chemical content or reaction, determine concentrations of compounds, and type and cross match samples for blood transfusions. They are also held responsible for the accuracy of the tests they run and the results they find. Minimum requirements This position is for a 25 bed critical access hospital laboratory that is open 24/7. Requires the expertise to multitask. Must have excellent attention to detail and follow the guidelines set by CAP and the OhioHealth Laboratory System.
