Quality Engineer - Hamilton, AL - (Russellville, AL)

Responsible for Quality Assurance department personnel supervision, development and implementation of defect prevention and implementation of defect prevention and quality assurance programs in accordance with Corporate guidelines. Essential Duties (Other duties may be assigned as necessary) 1) Assists in the development and implementation of defect prevention and quality assurance programs in cooperation with Quality Assurance Manager / Quality Engineering Manager and with Manufacturing Managers. 2) Instructs Quality Assurance technicians in interpreting drawings / part specifications and in maintaining standards. 3) Assists in analyzing the effectiveness of inspection techniques, standards and production procedures and proposes improvements when needed. 4) Checks part drawings, identifies discrepancies and requests blueprint changes. Reports details to supervisors, technicians, & engineers. 5) Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly scrap reports.
