About The Position : The Chief of Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of Community Corrections programs - Work Education Release (WER), Electric Home Detention (EHD), Community Center for Alternative Programs (CCAP), Community Work Program (CWP), and Helping Hands (HHP). Reporting to the Division Director, the Chief of Operations is at the top of the chain of command that includes, Caseworkers, Crew Chiefs, PR Investigators, and Corrections Program Supervisors, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring facility safety and security, and that participants are managed in accordance with applicable policies/procedures and best practices for community corrections facilities. The perfect applicant for the position will have a high-level of integrity and ethics, and the expertise to make difficult decisions based on integrity and ethical standards. He or she will be able to work well and productively with a wide variety of individuals at various levels of responsibility.
