Chef de Cuisine - (Freeport, IL)
Club Chef Private Club is Seeking a Creative and Passionate Chef de Cuisine with culinary background and willingness to succeed. Responsibilities: The chef will train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food; select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality; establish presentation technique and quality standards; plan and price menus with General Manager; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen. The chef is a working Chef. The chef plans and oversee special catering events. The chef directly supervises kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. Reports to: General Manager.
